FLS is a comprehensive web based education module that includes a hands-on skill training component and assessment tool designed to teach surgical, ob/Gyn residents and practicing surgeons the fundamental knowledge ,technical and surgical decision making skills ,required in basic laparoscopy surgery with the goal of improving the quality of patients care.
1. Fls program is endorsed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and is a joint educational offering of SAGES.
2. Fls program is CME approved; CME credit is allocated to surgeons who successfully complete the program and a certificate valid for 10years.
3. Testing is done at minimally invasive surgical solutions, the only testing centre in AFRICA.
